U4GM - Top 5 Pure Dexterity Weapons for Agile Builds

In Elden Ring, Dexterity builds shine with fast-paced combat, quick recovery frames, and deadly combos. As someone who favors dodging over blocking and precision over brute force, I’ve spent hundreds of hours exploring weapons tailored to this style. Whether you're rolling through enemy attacks or striking before they can react, pure Dexterity weapons give you a lethal edge in both PvE and PvP. Below are the top five weapons I personally recommend for any agile warrior focused solely on Dex.

1. Uchigatana

The Uchigatana is often underestimated because it’s available so early, but it scales exceptionally well with Dexterity and remains viable deep into NG+ cycles. With its innate bleed build-up and swift moveset, this weapon is deadly against both mobs and bosses. It was my go-to weapon in my first pure Dex run, and it never let me down, especially when paired with Bloodflame Blade.

What makes it even more attractive is its adaptability to Ashes of War. You can tailor it for status effects or max damage scaling, and it's light enough to dual-wield without affecting your mobility.

2. Nagakiba

Think of the Nagakiba as the Uchigatana's big brother. This katana boasts one of the longest reaches in the game, making it perfect for keeping enemies at bay while chipping away at their health. The extended hitbox has saved me countless times in PvP, where spacing and timing are everything.

Pairing two of these in a dual-wield setup or using it two-handed with Seppuku makes for a terrifying bleed-focused build that still retains high Dexterity scaling.

3. Godskin Peeler

This twinblade is a standout weapon for Dex builds who want to stay aggressive. Its unique R2 thrust attack offers deceptive reach, and its dual-hit light attacks can overwhelm foes quickly. I used this weapon extensively in my mid-game phase and found it to be both stylish and brutally efficient.

When infused with Keen and paired with a high Dexterity stat, the Godskin Peeler becomes one of the fastest DPS tools available. It's ideal for dealing with bosses weak to continuous pressure.

4. Bloodhound’s Fang

Although technically a curved greatsword, Bloodhound’s Fang scales primarily with Dexterity and fits perfectly into a high-risk, high-reward agile build. The weapon’s special skill, Bloodhound’s Finesse, allows you to leap backward while slashing, which feels like an extension of your dodge roll.

I relied heavily on this weapon during my second playthrough when I focused on hit-and-run tactics. Despite its size, it doesn’t weigh you down, and it delivers massive stagger potential in a Dex package.

Using powerful weapons like these can demand a lot of runes for upgrades and experimentation. That’s where resources like Elden Ring Runes come in handy, especially if you're refining multiple builds or testing infusion combinations.

5. Scavenger’s Curved Sword

This weapon might not look special at first glance, but its incredibly fast attack speed and high bleed build-up make it one of the most efficient Dex-scaling tools in the game. Found relatively early in the game, it shines when dual-wielded or infused with Keen.

On my latest PvP-focused build, I paired two Scavenger’s Curved Swords with Seppuku and Keen infusion. The result was astonishing—most enemies bled out in just a few hits, giving me a real advantage in duels.

If you're interested in quickly upgrading your Dexterity gear or experimenting with different weapons, many players choose to buy elden ring runes to save time and jump straight into advanced builds and PvP readiness.

Final Thoughts

Pure Dexterity builds in Elden Ring offer an adrenaline-fueled playstyle that rewards precision, timing, and speed. The weapons listed here are ones I’ve personally used and relied on across different playthroughs. Whether you prefer bleed-heavy setups or graceful twinblade combos, there’s a Dexterity weapon for every agile Tarnished out there. Stick to your build, refine your skills, and you’ll find the dance of death a little more beautiful each time.
